"Unmasking Art"

This project is to show the relationship in designs and elements of art history of east and west cultures. The use of masks shows a close relationship of the cultures’ styles, colors and narrative aspects in history. In this project, I wanted to show the evolution of the time periods in art beginning from the Prehistoric Age to Romanticism which I consider the most noticeable and impactful changes in the art world. These art movements have become the pivoting time periods that have caused change in styles, economics, and languages. I have created this for the purpose of educating and presenting a new perspective on art

and art history.

Art and I have an agreement... I won’t ask where we are going and art won’t ask “why me?" -Bobby Brendle
