"Talkative Trees"

My series Talkative Trees features three components: The Field Guide: Trees & How We Study Them (book), The Photo Guide: Trees & How We Study Them (book) and The Cookie Gallery: Tree Rings & How We Study Them (digital site). Trees are essential to our life on this planet. We know how they provide us with the oxygen we need to live, help cool the Earth and function as biotic-hubs. What is less known, is their incredible role as nature’s information capsules. This series explores the different types of information that we can obtain from trees and the ways in which we can do it. So please come with me and take a journey through these talkative trees.

"Though not related to data visualization, I would have loved to work with MinaLima on their creation of the Harry Potter Universe. It is so amazing that they were able to create a whole new world through their design and pure creativity. It would be a dream come true to help design packaging for something to be sold in Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, design one of Hermione's textbooks, or work on the Black Family Tapestry. I also would love to work on ANYTHING that had to do with Weta Workshop!"
